Good old Charles Dudley Warner was friends with Mark Twain. It was Warner who said, “Everybody complains about the weather, but nobody does anything about it,” but Twain quoted Warner during a speech, and, as the more famous of the two men, Twain usually got credited with the line. But here at HURRY UP PLEASE IT’S TIME, we like to give proper credit whenever possible. Go Charles!
