entertained

Being entertained is not the same as being thoughtfully engaged. Although devices can help us research and spread the word about important issues, often they lull us into complacency.  The challenge is to attend fully, in the moment, where we are, and then to act accordingly. This is true whether we are addressing social justice, intolerance, racism, homophobia, or environmental concerns. The goal then is to be both entertained and engaged.
