I’m working on a brand-new story about the fantastic tardigrade, the microscopic creature that seems virtually indestructible. Dry ’em out, freeze ’em, boil ’em, send ’em to outer space, put ’em under pressure—they just keep going. The name tardigrade comes from Latin, and means “slow walker.” Slow walkers unite! In the end, the slow walker will be the last one standing…er…crawling.

I apologize in advances for any evidence of tardigrade fixations that may appear on this site. The little arthropods are just irresistible.
